Challenges

Targeted solutions for

More recently, Porta’s digital landscape has struggled to keep pace with the group’s growth ambitions.

  • 1

    Fragmented Digital Presence

Porta operated across different separate websites, each with different structures and branding. This fragmentation created an inconsistent digital experience and made it difficult to present a clear, unified market position.
  • 2

Lack of a Unified Digital Strategy

Despite strong brands and market expertise, there was no central digital foundation to connect the various businesses under the newly formed Porta. This limited Porta’s ability to scale efficiently and leverage synergies across the combined business.
  • 3

    Limited Readiness for Future Growth

With further expansion plans ahead, Porta faced the risk of adding further complexity. The existing digital setup lacked the scalability and flexibility required to support future brands while maintaining cohesive identities.

THE RESULT

Success mentality

  • “Over a six-month engagement, SmartOSC delivered a new Digital Experience Platform built on Next.js with Sanity CMS, supporting 900+ products and Algolia search integration – designed to serve as the foundation for multiple company websites over time.

Throughout the project, they kept delivery on track while accommodating our requests and providing clear, constructive push-back when needed. That balance of delivery focus and technical judgement made them a strong partner. We’re continuing to work together to evolve and extend the platform.”
